I was very happy with Daniel's Moving and Storage. They were on time, professional and respectful at all times. They were very gentle with our things (even the upright piano they moved up and entire flight of stairs) Impressive and less expensive than other quotes I got. I highly recommend them.
A very unprofessional company. Arrived late and unprepared. Smoked more than they packed most of the time. Out things arrived fine, but it was not a smooth process.
As for Atlas and Daniel's Moving and Storage, we would not recommend them to our most hated enemy. Their salesman, was by far, the most kind, responsive, helpful and encouraging during the initial part of the process, but that ended when the deal was sealed. The international relocation coordinator (located in Washington) was helpful but very uninformed. What she thought should be happening was not what really happened. While she wanted to help us, the information she provided only intensified the frustrations of the workers. The workers cussed, smoked, were unprofessionally dressed, talked badly about their own company, and consistently made me feel bad for protecting my items. We will not be using their services for our relocation back the the United States.
Great move from start to finish. The Sales Rep was very friendly. The crew was great. I was referred by a friend stating the company was under new management and new crews. I thought everything was handled well and the move finished under time. I would highly recommend Daniel's in Kansas City!
Edit: (Post opening a box that wasn't opened yet) Have plastic tote that I keep spare sheets that fit a futon I own. Have company so I was getting the sheets first time since the move opening the tote. Everything inside is wet and looks like they have been used as shop rags, have black residue I am squeezing out and stained.
Wouldn't recommend using. When packing just threw a jumble of items in boxes and label for only one area of type of items that were in the box making it hard to discern what goes where. Lost items and were not able to find them and since box was only labeled as one area still trying figure out what is missing. Found some missing boxes but not all. I have moved 4 times before this time with similar moving companies and this is the only one that lost items on delivery.
